Today my family visited the Kit Carson museum in New Mexico.
The museum was full of cougar, beaver, and bear pelts and Spanish and American sadles.
But what was most fascinating to me was a family Catechism: a Bible containing family history and important teachings.
Our guide explained that the family Catechsim was one of the most important things in his family. It's over 150 years old and would have been the essential thing to save in the case of a fire.
What is the most important teaching to you?
Does your family know how important it is to you?
Maybe now is the time to write down what matters most.
Then ensure it's handed down to your posterity.
