Going Pro

Several years ago I overpaid for professional services.

I paid $60 for tax services from a franchised tax company. My taxes were done fast and with little effort to maximize deductions.

That's when I realized that it's possible to overpay for professional services. Some "professionals" charge like pros and work like amateurs.

(Of course you can also spend too much of your TIME on do it yourself projects.)

But do not spend too much money on professional services if the professional is an amateur- or worse, a novice.
