A few days ago while playing basketball I discovered my shot was completely off. Two of my good friends were outscoring me, beating me in every game and I knew that something was wrong.
At the end of a very difficult night, having lost most of the games that I tried to win, I asked one of my friends why my shooting was off. His response was, "your left foot was pointed the wrong way and when you were shooting free throws your left foot was not pointing towards the hoop. It was pointing towards the wall."
I quickly changed my footwork.
Because of his advice my shots were near perfect for the rest the night. Of course I was only shooting by myself but it reminded me that when things go wrong they may be corrected by changing one fundamental.
If your financial or family life is in disarray, find a coach to help you make one simple change.
