The helpless

The ones who can't help you are the best to help you.

Recently I began looking for salespersons to help grow frugal2free. As I called employment agencies I quickly found out they couldn't help me with my unusual request (no upfront fees and merit-based pay).

But each of the the persons I talked with gave me valuable advice to get closer to my goal. They told me where to post, what other companies to call and what time of the year is best for hiring. They told my about unemployment rates and confirmed some of my assumptions.

Another time a mechanic couldn't replace my muffler but he referred me to a garage that could.

It all served as a reminder that everyone can help. Even those who seem helpless.
