Over the weekend several relatives discussed a very fun wedding week they participated in about four years ago.
A distant relative invited many guests to California for dancing, parties and food at the Four Seasons. After the wedding ceremony butterflies and birds were released.
I wondered aloud at the cost of such an elaborate wedding.
Then my uncle let me know of another coupled who spent $200,000 on a wedding!
And today a friend told me of couple who were married at Disney World for $90,000!
Others get married on cruise ships or in remote mountains.
But my cousin put all these weddings in perspective when she leaned over and told me, "It's not the ceremony that makes a great marriage. It's what you do after the ceremony."
It's what you do after the ceremony.
