On a flight from Denver to Salt Lake City I noticed a lady applying mascara.....during descent. As the plane struggled downward through intense turbulence, she continued to tempt her fate with a mascara wand applicator attacking her eyelids.
I kept picturing the wand hitting her eye and causing her to wince in pain. Fortunately she escaped unscathed by the deadly mascara applicator.
Everyday we are tempted to do something insane like applying mascara during turbulence.
Multiple credit cards, no budget, unilateral decision making, shunning non-fiction books, and using money for selfish satisfactions act as mascara wands ready to poke our eyes during turbulent times.
