Paavo Nurmi was one of the greatest runners in Olympic history. In the 1920's the "Flying Finn" won 5 gold medals in a single Olympiad.
Then while on tour in the US he won 54 of 55 races.
His secret to winning? He was one of the first runners to use a stopwatch while he ran.
He consistently tracked his running time.
His stopwatch acted as a feedback loop. He adjusted his pace according to feedback.
Those who track expenses, dreams and goals have the advantage of increased effectiveness.
The more often we track finances, the faster we progression.
