My paternal grandpa was known for building straight, sturdy fences.
He hired many others to build with him as his reputation increased demand for his gorgeous fences.
His secret?
Distinctions. Nuances or little differences that made his fences better than any other in Sanpete County.
He made each fence post the same length.
Every single post was placed in a perfect row.
In finances distinctions abound. Many little nuances create massive leverage and momentum.
Examples:
Ceiling fans and open windows can often replace or at least lessen the cost of air conditioners.
Discussing/ researching potential purchases with many people (especially a spouse) can virtually eliminate buyers remorse.
Paying cash for a high-quality, used vehicle saves thousands of dollars every year in payments, insurance and upkeep.
Multiply that by two or more vehicles and you can travel anywhere/start a business/improve your home.
Distinctions abound when we look for them.
Massive, quantum growth comes from making many small choices well.
In time your life will resemble a straight, well built fence.
"Massive, quantum growth comes from making many small choices well."
Your statement reminds me of one of my favorite scriptures, Luke 7:35 NLT. "But wisdom is shown to be right by the lives of those that follow it."
Wisdom (and the fruit of it in our lives) will build a straight and lengthy fence that will keep out the unwanted and keep in what's ours.
