Have you ever fed a baby goat, a kid? A few weeks ago our family visited a local farm to help feed several kids.
We used giant bottles filled with milk. At first three or four baby goats jostled to drink from each held bottle.
As I helped feed them I realized that the goats would readily suck on fingers and empty bottles in a vain attempt to extract milk.
In regards to money we should be careful to pursue milk. Not empty bottles.
The milk of money is ROI. For every dollar spent there must be positive return. A gift for your spouse. Money in the bank. Money or time to family or charity.
Empty bottles? Alcohol. Pornography. Dead-end jobs. Anger.
Go for milk, not empty bottles.
I feel like I could share or link every one of your posts. I'll stop so you don't think I'm flattering you or becoming a band-aid, but I have been so encouraged by your posts. I can't wait to read more!
