Years ago my family stayed with friends in a simple, orderly house in Idaho.
Our friends had a spacious, organized home. Everything had a place because they purposefully planned their household. Family members knew where to find anything.
Most importantly was their family patterns. Children read each day so they could earn video game time.
Mealtimes were organized and efficient.
They even held regular family devotionals with children taking turns reading from Scriptures and praying.
No wonder they paid off massive debt and enjoy great happiness.
As our family tries to emulate their house of order our wants dissipate and we feel confident and content.
