"Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can
be counted counts" was written on a sign hanging in Einstein's office at Princeton.
The driving forces for abundance are rarely countable: family relationships, friendship (not measured by social media interactions), peace, joy, confidence, hope, knowledge.
On the other hand counting square feet, cylinders, extracurricular activities/children's GPAs, and IQs are countable but usually don't matter.
What are you counting? And does it count?
