When thinking improves, life improves.
Survivalists, Successes, and Significants (those who make an impact) think distinct thoughts which cause life to be good or bad depending on what thoughts they sow.
Survivalists think of the present. Savings don't exist. Debt is frequently the means to obtain a need. The future looks bleak and it often is. Survivalists usually lack hope, sufficient work, and discipline.
Successes think of the present and the future. Assets are usually more doodads (money-consuming) rather than equity-based entities (ie. income producing). Some savings exists, but not much. Style and others respect are most important. Family takes second place to self and selfish interests. Giving is rare if at all.
Significants are immersed in offering significance to family and others. Money and time are used to make other people happy. They are not martyrs, but considerate edifiers. They seem to give more than is humanly possible and are filled with joy because of their genorisity.
How does one go from survival/success to significance?
Start investing--not spending--money. Only buy things that offer returns of money, experience, or knowledge. Make family your greatest investment. Look with hope to the future.
We may feel sorry for the Survivalists. We may admire the Successes. But those we most love and respect tend to be Significants.
