A few days ago a passerby spied a treasure outside our house.
When we renovated our bathroom we temporally placed
our old bathtub near a trashcan.
The man asked my wife if he could have our old tub.
We planned on throwing it away but instead allowed the man to
haul it away.
What will he do with our "trash?"
Cash it in for money.
He could make as much as $35-50 on our trash.
'Trash' denotes worthless or of no value, but often it is a treasure.
How often do we get rid of our "trash" that could bring money?
Cars traded in at a steep loss or junked instead of sold for cash.
Clothes can be sewn or patched instead of trashed.
Washers and driers can be sold or given to a needy family instead of trashed.
Sometimes we simply put old "trash" in a storage unit and pay fees.
Or sometimes we dismiss a possible treasure because it looks trashy.
I had a friend who bought an older car to commute.
He paid about $700, it gets over 35 MPG and it runs well.
A treasure to him, and trash (because it's old and is a Geo) to others.
Another friend obtained a very old home for next to nothing.
It was an eyesore until he renovated the house.
Now his house looks wonderful and he has no mortgage.
This has allowed him to buy many fun things for his family including
ATVs, snowmobiles, and nice vehicles.
Generously give away your trash and keep your eyes open for a "trashy" treasure.
