many sports such as hockey, soccer, baseball, football

and basketball.  An MVP award is given to the best player for a

season or a game. 

Pele received one. Steve Young and Kurt Warner have a pair each.

 In financial jargon MVP is your most valuable payment(s).

What payment is the one that should be paid first?

What one matters most to your family?

Prioritizing your payments ensures that your family has housing, clothing and transportation.

This isn't to say we should avoid creditors, because we shouldn't.

But we must pay our most important obligations first;

not our most urgent or persistent creditors.
