My car battery began to die a few days ago. Thankfully my alternator kicked in and helped my car start despite a battery that was 98% dead. I replaced the battery and all is well.
One spouse may be like a 2% effective battery and the other spouse may be like a 100% working alternator. It doesn't matter how much each gives, but both must be involved.
Hint: When you think you're the more important part of the relationship you're usually not.
And the best time to take care of your battery or alternator is before they are needed. Dote on your spouse now. Invest in him/her with money, time, attention, and love. Your ROI will be most enjoyable.
