The topic of Perfection brings out wildly
Some say perfection is elusive and should not even be a goal.
While others say perfection is a worthy and a very attainable goal.
But mastering a given area or many areas is not only attainable but verified by history.
I know several people who are "perfect" (complete-Greek teleiotes ) in keeping calm.
I know many people who have mastered the use of edifying language.
I know lots of wonderful people who are "perfect" in giving liberally to people in need.
Ultimately we should all find areas to master or make complete despite being flawed.
Although no man or woman is without flaws,
we all have benefited from people who have mastered a given area.
One of my uncles in New York is a man who has mastered personal relationships despite being rather shy.
Although he undoubtedly makes mistakes he has mastered the art of listening to the person who is lonely.
He is the one who always makes people feel welcomed.
He never seeks to dominate conversations and he is lavish in his praise.
He delights in helping his children become contributing members of society.
He even donated part of his liver to save the life of my hero, my Dad.
Don't worry about being a person without mistakes.
Seek to be a person who masters weaknesses and utilizes strengths.
You will make many mistakes with money, but seek to master it anyways.
Many times in my life I have given thanks for a (flawed) uncle
who mastered the art of loving other people completely.
