A man called me to reveal a "secret" that only the rich know.
He went on to tell me that this secret has been kept from the upper middle class.
The caller happened to know the secret and could easily share it for the right price.
His "secret" was focused on some amazing method for getting rich.
Surely his "secret" wouldn't be use a budget, plan with a spouse, or work hard.
This man confused the legitimate secret sauce/recipe/formula of several companies with his spam-like promise.
Mc Donald's has a secret sauce for the Big Mac." KFC has a "secret recipe" for chicken.
Coca-Cola has a "secret formula" code named Merchandise 7X for Coke.
Is there a secret to getting financially free?
Absolutely not, there are many methods to getting rich (ie real estate, stocks, businesses,fame, savings) and everyone has heard the real "secret" so often, that it the worst kept "secret" in America.
The "secret sauce" just involves principles like work and sacrifice (aka planning, thrift, investing). Although methods are many, principles are few (and true).
Apply the few time-tested and widely-known principles for acquiring wealth and use whatever method you prefer. Wealth will follow (if you allow the "secret" principles to peculate a little).
